Devoteam is proud to announce that Graham Zabel has joined its UK Agile IT team as Head of DevOps.
Graham has over 25 years’ experience in IT across many sectors with a strong emphasis on financial services and investment banking. He has a development background in some very demanding environments such as front office high volume/low latency trading and risk applications.
More recently he has worked in the CTO office at Barclays Investment Bank as an enterprise architect where he led DevOps transformation for four years.
Graham is passionate about helping businesses succeed in transforming their IT delivery in the face of constant change and disruption. DevOps is a key enabler in this journey. Automating build, test and deployment of software reduces risk and can drastically improve productivity and speed to market. Similarly on the operations side, automating the provisioning of infrastructure, integration with service management systems and reactive monitoring solutions provide similar benefits.
DevOps at scale has unique challenges – measuring DevOps maturity across an enterprise, building internal expertise, standardising DevOps processes and tooling and evolving the culture of software development and delivery. Graham has deep experience in DevOps transformation at large enterprise scale.
