Sunday 25 November marked the seventh year of the Silicon Milkroundabout tech job fair based in the chic area of Shoreditch, London. With ambitious hiring targets set for 2019, Devoteam UK is spreading the word that we’re hiring the brightest talent across the board in DevOps, Integration and ServiceNow.
This two-day event held in the remodelled Old Truman Brewery played host to 3,500 visitors and over 200 companies, which included a few household names (BBC, Citymapper, Sky, BuzzFeed, etc.) as well as some innovative small-medium companies like Devoteam, a leading player in digital consultancy.
Free drink and pizza were available, the hallmark of a techie meetup.
Throughout the day we were approached by several talented candidates for our DevOps and ServiceNow roles and what really stood out was the variety of backgrounds, including some with a traditional STEM education.
This event reinforced the importance of brand recognition. A number of people knew Devoteam in Europe and were very happy to hear we are extending our UK presence.
With Devoteam firmly on track to reach our corporate goal of €1bn in revenue by the end of 2020, our ServiceNow and DevOps practices are playing a prominent role in helping to realise that ambition, known as 2020: Scale!.
